Index: Australasian & Oceanian
The australasian & oceanian biogeographic realms are home to a great number of parrot species including several species common as pets or for breeding, e.g. the popular Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus), Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus) and various Cockatoos (Cacatua).
