Pseudeos

The Pseudeos genus includes two medium sized parrots native to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

The Cardinal Lory was previously included in the Chalcopsitta genus but recent studies concluded it was closer related to the Dusky Lory and thus moved to the Pseudeos genus.
