Eos

The parrots in the Eos genus generally have a red plumage with blue, purple or black markings.

They are native to islands in the eastern Indonesia, where they can be located in forests, mangroves and coconut plantations.

Lories and lorikeets has a special brush-tipped tongue, that is used for gathering nectar and pollen from flowering trees and plants.
