The monotypic genus Neopsephotus includes the Bourke’s Parrot, which is a small parrot native to the interior regions of southern and western Australia. They are about 18-23 cm long with the tail taking up about half the length.
Bourke’s Parrot was previously placed in the genus Neophemabut is now classified as the only species in the genus Neopsephotus.
