Glossoptilus

The monotypic genus Glossoptilus includes a single species: Goldie’s Lorikeet, which was previously categorized as Psitteuteles goldiei but was moved to Glossoptilus goldiei in 2021 with the IOC 11.2 update.

Goldie’s Lorikeet is native to New Guinea. It is fairly common in aviculture.
