Lophochroa

The Lophochroa genus comprises a single specie – Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo -with two subspecies. It is a medium-sized cockatoo.

While most cockatoos typically have a crest with a single color, the Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo  have an unusual and more colorful crest with white, red and yellow ribbons.
