Northiella

The genus Northiella is named after the Australian ornithologist Alfred John North. It includes two species of small Australian parrots; the Naretha Bluebonnet is smaller than the Eastern Bluebonnet.

They were previously included in the genus Psephotus but were reclassified in 1994 to Northiella.
