Most content on this site including text and photographs are copyright by the original author and may not be copied or distributed in any way without the express permission from the copyright holder.
Some photos are public domain (PD) or licensed under a Create Commons license (CC) and may be copied and freely used as long the original photographer is credited. Please notice that only photos where a PD or CC license is clearly stated may be freely copied – all other photos are subject to copyright.
For non-commercial use I normally grant permission to use my photographs and text free of charge under these conditions :
As an example of non-commercial use I will normally grant permission to include my photos or descriptions in your local bird society’s magazine or for education purposes. If you have your own web site with information about parrots I will normally also grant permission to use my photos or articles as long as the above conditions are respected.
I am not the copyright holder of all photos on this site – the copyright owner has granted me permission to use their photos on my site but I can not allow any of their photos to be copied by 3rd party. For this reason condition #1 above is very important, as I can easily tell you which photos you may use and which will require a special permission by the copyright owner. So always ask for permission before copying, thank you!
